As a non-profit, we are committed to supporting businesses of all sizes, stages and changing economic landscapes. Our efforts are sustained through a unique funding model that blends our own profits with vital sponsorships from generous partners like some of you. In 2024, we’ve made significant strides in enhancing our support for North Essex’s thriving business community. This year, we embarked on a major refurbishment of our City Centre location, creating a more modern, accessible, and welcoming space for our clients. We also introduced hot desking across our locations, providing greater flexibility for entrepreneurs, remote workers, lone workers and small business owners seeking dynamic workspaces. 

 

As we look to 2025, we’re thrilled to launch our most ambitious project yet: The Digital Forum. Set to open around late spring or early summer 2025, this cutting-edge collaborative workspace will serve as a creative hub for digital artists, entrepreneurs, tech creatives, and digital nomads. 

Located in the heart of Colchester, The Digital Forum is surrounded by some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including The Castle Park, St Botolph’s Priory, and Firstsite. Its prime location, just a short walk from the City Centre Rail Station and accessible via a public thoroughfare, makes it an ideal space for innovators to connect, collaborate, and grow. 

Our vision for The Digital Forum is to create a space where creativity and technology meet. It’s a response to the growing demand for a growth space for tech businesses in North Essex. This space will be a catalyst for growth and innovation in the creative and digital sectors, further cementing Colchester as a hub for supporting entrepreneurial excellence.
