Denise Rossiter, Operations Director at Essex Chambers of Commerce, has joined Colbea’s non executive board of directors.
Ms Rossiter brings to the board her passion for customer service and communication. Her background includes management in the wine trade and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as running her own business – Southend Networking-On-Sea Limited – which makes her ideally placed to understand the challenges faced by Colbea’s clients. She is one of Essex Chambers’ two executive directors and a member of the Chamber’s Finance and Remuneration Committee.
The appointment follows the launch of Colbea’s Enterprise Club in which Ms Rossiter has played a key role. The Club brings together Essex Chambers of Commerce, the Professional Training Centre at Colchester Institute and Colbea itself, to offer people in the early stages of trading or running a small business access to a host of resources. Clients will benefit from training services, vocational expertise, 1-2-1 business advice and mentoring, all designed in modular form to help business owners through the initial set-up stages and to keep them on the right track as their business grows.
