Biography
Philip is the managing partner at Birkett Long, a progressive Essex based firm of solicitors with offices in Colchester and Chelmsford. He has vast experience of dealing with commercial issues covering a variety of commercial law areas, including advice on partnerships and joint ventures, property deals, sales and purchases of businesses, and in recent years Philip has advised on numerous Private Finance Initiative projects. Philip became Honorary Chairman of Colbea on 1st January 2006 after serving as a Board Member for many years. He actively supports and encourages new business initiatives in the local business community and, in his new position, will utilise his skills to develop the Agency for future challenge.
