The directors of Colbea give up their valuable time completely free of charge in order to help manage the tactical and strategic aspects of the Business Enterprise Agency. They are drawn from local business life and represent a wide gamut of skills and experience. Together they allow Colbea access to a level of management expertise that is seldom found in any organisation.
Tony joined the Colbea board in 2005. Managing Director of Colchester-based Computerwise Limited, founded 25 years ago, Tony has worked in IT for almost 40 years. The company specialises in advanced business software, training and services throughout the South-East, and provides IT infrastructure and communications support. In the early 70’s, Tony was one of the first Open University students to gain a BA in Systems Engineering and has always taken a special interest in how the human factor affects successful implementation of new systems. Tony is also a founder member of Colchester Pro-Help group. As a Colbea director he brings his extensive IT experience to the board and will be a valuable asset in helping to develop the Agency’s IT strategy over the next few years.
