The directors of Colbea give up their valuable time completely free of charge in order to help manage the tactical and strategic aspects of the Business Enterprise Agency. They are drawn from local business life and represent a wide gamut of skills and experience. Together they allow Colbea access to a level of management expertise that is seldom found in any organisation.
Tim joined HSBC in 1979 and has since worked in many branches in East Anglia and London. In 2000 he came back to Colchester to look after a growing portfolio of business customers for HSBC in North Essex. This role expanded to take on many of the local Corporate relationships based at the Colchester office. Through various recent changes he has now taken on the responsibility for the Bank's business banking interests for North Essex as a whole. His team look after nearly 1000 business accounts for this area.
Many of his recent roles have included significant community involvement, from membership of local Chambers of Trade to being on the Board of Governors for a local education facility. As a result, Tim brings to Colbea experience in a wide variety of areas, aside from normal banking and lending matters.
